South Africa’s women’s football team Banyana Banyana has suffered its second defeat in the Cyprus Women’s Cup.
The Czech Republic came back from a goal and a player down, to record a 2-1 win over Banyana Banyana.
The two Czech Republic’s goals were scored in the last minutes of the match. They were reduced to 10 players late in the first half after a red card for a second bookable offense.
Banyana Banyana played out to a 2-2 draw in their first Group A match against Finland before suffering a 4-1 defeat to North Korea on Friday.
Banyana are using the Cyprus Cup as preparation for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be staged in France in June.
