Some homeless people around Pretoria say they are not planning to cast their vote on Wednesday because government is failing to take care of them.
For a group of homeless people just opposite the Union Buildings, it is business as usual.
Amongst them is Peter Sentso who left his Hammanskraal home five years ago for the streets. Sentso says despite living just opposite the union buildings, they haven’t received any assistance from government.
“I’m not voting today because I’m suffering because there are no jobs. We want help from the government. The government must give the people who are sleeping on the streets shelter and small jobs.”
