A police captain has been remanded in custody after the fatal shooting of two siblings. The incident happened at his liquor shop at Makosha village in Giyani, Limpopo.
23-year-old Oscar Mkhabela died on the spot and his brother Kulani was rushed to Mankweng hospital in Polokwane.
It’s alleged that a fight ensued amongst the patrons and the captain was called to defuse the tension.
Police have condemned the violent actions.
Eight members arrested for public violence will appear in court on Tuesday.
