President Cyril Ramaphosa has met with the Springboks ahead of their Rugby World Cup Final against England on Saturday.
Ramaphosa travelled to Japan on Friday to support the national team and express the country’s support.
The match between South Africa and England will commence at the Yokohama Stadium in Japan and promises to be a closely contested affair.
Ramaphosa told the Boks that just getting this far in the tournament is already a great achievement.
“It is a very decisive moment, the nation back home, everybody back home, every man, woman, and child even the animals even the springboks they are totally behind you. You have travelled an unbelievable journey to get to the final, and that to us is a huge achievement…”
“If you never thought that you have achieved a lot I want to tell you now that just being in the final for us is the best achievement,” Ramaphosa.
